Our Objectives
To create an enabling environment for youth participation
- To create an enabling environment for youth participation, empowerment and recognition at all levels and in all aspects of life – socially, economically, politically and otherwise.
- To provide facilities, opportunities and platforms for youth engagement, dialogue, self-employment and services to the community and to the country.
- To protect and improve our good culture and or traditions and to sensitize our communities.
- To foster a culture of local development, self-help, voluntarism, community service, responsible living and community development as a key strategy to fight unemployment and poverty in all rural communities.
- To empower the youth to take a lead in the fight against HIV and Aids and to play a central role in promoting positive living and alleviating the associated social impact of the disease in communities.
- To raise awareness on environmental protection and development and to encourage planting of trees and protection of the environment.
- To promote the culture of education and training at all levels, in this regard all the youth at school and colleges to be actively encouraged to make the most of the opportunities for the benefit of themselves, the community and ultimately the country.
- To engage in projects that will create job opportunities and generate income.
- To provide recreational facilities and opportunities for community participation in sports and culture.
- To partner and or engage other stakeholders relevant to the fulfilment of our objectives.
- To provide a platform and vehicle for youth debate and participation at all levels of society.
- To be the voice for the youth of Swaziland.
